A Child’s Favorite Stuffed Toy
At a certain age in a child’s development, he or she becomes attached to a stuffed animal. The child imbues that toy with human characteristics and personality traits, in effect treating it like a real person. This practice could be viewed as a major step in the child’s life, as it demonstrates a certain level of maturity. In effect, the child plays the role of “parent” to the stuffed toy.
A stuffed animal is just the sort of meaningful plaything that can be passed down from one generation to the next and from older siblings to younger ones. The only real drawback of a typical stuffed animal is that its stuffing may not be all-natural, organic material. If this is the case, the toy could prove irritating to a child’s soft skin. For that reason, soft organic baby toys are easily the best alternative.
